The agentic enterprise, under your control
Agents are already doing work your business depends on, and the decision to adopt them usually arrives from the top. Geordie gives leadership one view of what agents do, what they cost and what risk they carry, so you can decide where they take on more and show the board the business is in control of the shift.
Trusted by the world's most forward-thinking companies
You are asked to adopt agents faster than anyone can say who runs them
Across the organizations we speak to, agent adoption arrives top-down and funded, from a CEO, a new CTO or the board, while responsibility for running agents safely is mostly inherited by whichever team could not say no. Firms that cannot see their agents tend not to enable them, and one security leader told us that left competitors months behind on new AI capabilities.
How much work are agents doing for us?
Agents arrive through platforms, developers and individual employees, so the honest answer is usually larger than any inventory leadership has seen.
Are we exposed, and would we know?
Agents act with real access to data, systems and money, and most organizations do not yet have the record that would show what one did.
What does it cost, and what does it return?
Spend arrives unattributed, and without tying it to agents and outcomes there is no way to show the board a return on the investment.
Who in the business owns this?
Ownership tends to be inherited rather than designed, and most current owners describe themselves as caretakers until someone else arrives.
Choose how agents are owned before the choice is made for you
Our research across more than 60 organizations found six shapes of ownership forming, from security absorbing the work to a dedicated AI function or a cross-functional committee. The ones furthest along picked a shape deliberately and wrote down who owns what. Whichever shape you choose, each function has to work from one record of what agents do.
Leadership owns
Settled- The mandate to adopt Where agents should take on work, and how fast.
- The ownership decision Which shape owns agent security and operations, written down.
- The board view Risk, cost and return reported in one place.
Leadership shares
Often contested- Risk appetite With security and GRC, set by blast radius and regulatory exposure.
- The AI committee Policy set across functions, with a named team to carry it out.
- Investment priorities With the business units that run agents and benefit from them.
Leadership depends on
Usually owned elsewhere- A current inventory Kept by IT or agent operations, trusted by everyone.
- Evidence of behavior What agents actually did, recorded by security.
- Spend tied to owners Attribution finance can allocate and question.
From our research series, Who should own agent security and operations?

One view
One picture leadership and every function can share
Geordie brings every agent, its owner, its reach, its risk and its spend into a single view, built from the same record security, IT, AI operations and finance work from. Leadership stops reconciling five different reports and starts from one set of facts.
Geordie is deployed across at least 90% of Forge Holiday Group's tech ecosystem, through combined endpoint and API coverage.
Assurance
Evidence the board and regulators will accept
Findings map continuously to ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OWASP and MITRE ATLAS, from an immutable record of what agents actually did. Audit readiness becomes a standing position rather than a scramble before each review.
Owkin evidenced EU AI Act compliance in under 10 minutes for a pharmaceutical partner's RFP.
Return
Spend and work, side by side
Because spend comes from the same record as behavior, leadership can see what agent adoption costs alongside the work agents are doing, by function and by owner. That is the starting point for deciding where agents should take on more and where they should be consolidated or retired.
Remediation, powered by Beam
The business keeps running while risk comes down
Most approaches ask whether an agent is allowed or blocked, and blocking an agent stops the work it was doing. Beam responds across a range, from monitoring and guidance to confirmation and enforcement, so agents keep working while the controls leadership expects stay in force.
A hedge fund customer told us that downtime from a failed control could cost more than the security incident it was meant to prevent.
Every function works from the same facts
Geordie starts where agent risk is owned and extends to the teams that run, fund and govern agents, so leadership is not left reconciling competing views.
- Security Approves adoption with evidence of what agents do.
- IT Runs inventory, identity and retirement across the fleet.
- AI operations Decides where agents can take on more.
- Finance Allocates and questions spend tied to owners.
What leaders tell us
- AI platforms approved at a global private equity firm, with a documented review behind every approval.
- 0 → 3
- in exposure avoided at Owkin, after it uncovered three critical CVEs its existing stack had missed.
- ~$13M
- for Owkin to evidence EU AI Act compliance for a pharmaceutical partner's RFP.

“Geordie makes me successful in my role by helping me practice what I preach in making the business go faster safely. It enables us to be a first mover and to adopt agentic AI in a way that is safe for the business.”
“My leadership team approved these [AI platforms] because I could show them with Geordie what the agents were doing. Not what the model was doing. Not what the network was logging. What the agent was actually doing, step by step.”
“The visibility and control Geordie created made me much more comfortable supporting broader adoption across the business.”
